In micro braids, the extensions are joined to the natural hair by braiding. The extensions can be 100 human hair, pony-hair or synthetic hair. They are a versatile hairstyle. They can be worn in loose, pulled back into a ponytail or bun, coiled, or pinned back with clips or barrettes, allowing you the flexibility to create casual or formal styles. This style is appropriate for the professional woman. They last about 2 to 3 months with some touch ups in between.

They are a very common style, worn by men, women and children. There are many ways to part, position, and finish them to make them look different from one to another. They usually last for 2 to 3 months with some touch ups in between. Some twists may not be appropriate for professional environment.

As in kinky twists, the extensions are joined to the natural hair by twisting it. Senegalese twists are usually done with kanakolon hair, and are twisted longer and smaller than kinky twists. They will last 2- 3 months with touch up maintenance. These twists give a natural sex appeal, and are appropriate for the workplace.

Invisible braids are almost braided like micro braids with same type of hair. The difference is the invisible is braided much shorter, less than an inch, in order to make braid invisible. They will usually last 2- 3 months with proper maintenance. They are appropriate for the work environment.

Done in two different ways, first, the natural hair is braided in cornrows, and the extension is either glued in or sawn in. Weaves come in all styles and lengths. The longer styles can be pulled up and back in different ways for appropriate looks from casual to formal. Weave is usually done with human hair; therefore, hair can be flat-ironed, curled, cut and style accordingly. They can be left in 1-2 months.
